DEVASTATION!
America, you asked for it, you got it. Your devastation will come soon. I have said for many years that Americans are very stupid. I never dreamed how right I was. I was wrong in my prediction. I predicted a landslide, but for the wrong party. I am sorry for the country and I am embarassed for her. I have said many times, be careful what you wish for, you might just get it. When doom falls, I shall laugh with glee in your face. You were warned, you failed to heed that warning and destruction is yours.

I do not understand your feelings, to believe to the core of your soul that John McCain is the only one that can run this great Nation of ours.
What I see is how this highly contested Presidential campaign has blinded your judgment. Twenty-one of the world’s top leaders said before tonight’s election, that Obama would make a better President, over 58 million Americans voted tonight saying the same thing, so maybe it’s not the American people who are “stupid”, maybe it’s just you.
You see, you did not predict a landslide, as I have told you on many different occasions, it is the media outlets you listen to who have brainwashed you to believe what the rest of the world can see as plain as day, the better man won today.
What you have just witness, is a paradigm shift. Get use to it, the good old boy period of excluding others who are different, are over. Obama just showed, you can win without getting the older white vote, young voters replaced their votes, and future races will follow the same model.
The old back room politics have ended; inclusion now becomes the rule of the day, and not the exception. This is a great day for our country, and the world. This shows American is still the place where all things are possible.
Not bad, after all in 1789, The U.S. Constitution was ratified with a clause equating Blacks/Slaves to 3/5 of that of a white citizen.

I agree with Danny. The only "Hope" and "Change" that Americans will be seeing is the change left in your pockets (if any) after Obama takes office, and the hope that this country recognizes the error soon enough. The voters made the choice, but it doesn't mean it is the right one.

Where have you been, for the last 8 years under the Bush administration, talking about devastation. Remember 9/11, Iraq, where over 4100 lives lost, and counting, over 3 million jobs lost, the greatest financial crisis since the Great Depression, 71 percent of Americans believe the United States is less respected by other countries than in the past, millions of American have lost their homes, and 1 in 5 homes in American are valued less than what was financed. Should I continue, what about those American companies asking/needing a bailout, or how many American companies have closed their doors.
Are you still talking about devastation, what do you thing this country has gone through in the last 8 years? You will see real change; after all, it’s what the American people voted for by a landslide.
You sound like some little kid who just lost a sporting event, grow up, get a life, we go through this every four years (Presidential election), so it’s only a matter of time when someone you don’t agree with was going to win. Stop acting like chicken little, the sky isn’t falling. If you would like to gather your marbles, and go to another playground, such as China, North Korea, or maybe Ireland, I will buy the ticket.
God has not forgotten American, can’t you see, this is God’s doing. Who else can take a race, which was shipped here in chains; over 12 million died while being transported, treated less than animals, and now is the most powerful man in the free World. From the Plantation to the President, that tells me God still lives, but the good news is, Obama is your President as well.

Obama got 53% and McCain got 46%. That is 7%. You yourself just said the other day in front of witnesses that 8% or more was a landslide. Let's look at it closer. Obama got 63,893,037 votes and McCain got 56,404,917. What is the difference? Oh no, more math. The number is 7,488,120 votes difference. Now, divide it by 2. That number is 3,744,060. That means had McCain gotten 3,744,061 votes, he would have won! Is 3.7 million votes out of a historic election a landslide? NO! So we can see how duped you are. I warned you about facts.

Not sure where you are getting your research, may be the same place that led you to believe that John McCain was going to be President elect, but lost by a landslide, 349 electoral votes, that’s the landslide I am talking about.
Again, just within this year, U.S. has lost about 760,000 jobs, not including October’s numbers, those numbers will be released this Friday, but signs are, we have lost between 150,000 to 200,000 jobs this month along. You can look this up on any credible news source.
About 9-11, I know we were attacked on our soil by al-Qaeda terrorists, but why are we in Iraq. After all Murray Waas, a special to National Journal reported on Nov. 22, 2005 “President Bush was told in a highly classified briefing that the U.S. intelligence community had no evidence linking the Iraqi regime of Saddam Hussein to the attacks and that there was scant credible evidence that Iraq had any significant collaborative ties with Al Qaeda, according to government records and current and former officials with firsthand knowledge of the matter.”

As for as discrediting our troops, just because I don’t agree on the reason why we went to war, does not mean I don’t support our troops. I can disagree on the reason why our fine young brave men and women are being put in harms way, and still support the troops, after all, between the two of us, I am one who served in the U.S. Army in a Combat MOS (Job). You see, you don’t have to believe in the war, but once the troops go to war, you always support the troops, regardless, you should know that.

You know, when I was in high school playing JV football, a running back for the other team went over 1000 yards during this game, and that team went on to win this game. I was upset we lose the game, but I understood what a great milestone for this person, and their team, so for that reason, I was happy for that person and their team. Never once did I mention anything about color. Never in the years you have known me have you heard me say anything negative about the color of a persons skin. My beef was about mentioning Ireland with countries like China and North Korea. Those are two VERY radical countries with extremely radical ways. Ireland is NOTHING like those two countries. That is my main issue. Don't even bring the color of skin into your explanation as to why you stated Ireland with China and North Korea.
I will ask this though, in all of the discussions we have had in the past, why do you keep bringing color into it? Why does color always seem to be a big point to you? I have given many examples of Black men/woman in power in different companies or political figures. Your response is always the majority is white, it is a white mans world. Will you not be happy until EVERY position of power in the world is lead by a black man? I have said and still say, let the person who is most qualified be in power, no matter their race or sex. Nothing is holding anyone back from being what they want to be in life other than themselves.

Do you see the big 3 automakers asking Washington for another 25 billion dollar bailout, they have not received the first 25 billion yet, and already asking for another 25 billion.

It was the democrats that wrote the bill and bush did go for it, preach for it and McCain too signed it and I condemned him for it. I guess it is easy for you to blame all of President Bush’s failures on the democratic controlled congress, right. The only problem with that, republicans were in control 6 of the last 8 years, so what happen to the other 6 years.
When you are the President, you are to blame, you are the leader, and so you must take credit for the good as well as the bad.
In sports, when the team has a bad year, the coach is fired, not the players.
On the job lost, you are comparing Bush’s low level service job gains for the last 8 years, with jobs lost of this year only. We have lost about 900,000 jobs this year alone (This number includes the 200,000 jobs lost that will be announced tomorrow for the month of October).
You are in for great treat, if you loved President Bush after what he did to the Great Nation, you will want to marry President elect Obama, he will regain our respect with the rest of the world, and get this country back to per-Bush years.
Remember those days, when you were able to get this great job you have now, but under Bush, you have not been able to fine a better one. polls can bend this way and stretch that way, but a recent poll puts bush's approval rating at 19%. congress's approval did drop to a staggering 9%. but i thought this thread was about obama. he has a current favorable rating of 61%. the point here being not all democrats are poorly-rated and not all republicans are highly-rated. and right now america see obama as the best man to lead them out of the mess made by both sides of the aisle.

a week or two ago, the socialist party's nominee for president officially declared that obama is "the farthest thing from" a socialist, that he is very much a capitalist.

You talk a LOT about the housing problem we have here. You conveniently forget that Bush started warning about this in 2001 and the Democrats, refused to go along and admit a problem even to this very year. McCain got on board in 2005/2006, 2 to 3 YEARS before the housing bubble bursted. Stop using Obama's website for your "facts".

No it is not hateful. You see, you have a huge disadvantage. Jeff has told me many things so I have inside information you do not. Take my word for it that what I have spoken is the truth. one good thing obama has done for america? he has given her a positive message. he has given the country a light into the shadow of the future. his belief in america has given the people belief in themselves. we no longer have to be a country motivated by scare tactics. that is something more powerful than mccain or palin could do and it is the reason obama won this election so easily. people are tired of the negativity generated by the bush and mccain campaigns.

whats in a name? i am the voice of the american majority. im the percentage of americans youre railing against. i believe in this country and in its decisions. i have faith that the end is far from near, unlike the naysayers out there who are preaching gloom and doom. that is the mentality this country needs to distance itself from and it is trying to do just that. it is fine for you to disagree but do it constructively, not negatively.
and yes telling someone you will laugh in their face when they lose their family IS hateful. i dont know how you can deny that. telling the majority of americans that they are stupid simply because they disagree with you politically is hateful. despite what you may have heard seeing all sides is a virtue as is coming to terms with defeat. now that the president has been decided it is time to move on and do the best we can for our country no matter your side of the political spectrum.

He will vow, under immediate impeachment proceedings that he will not change our country, marriage, taxes or way of life! You want fair? You do this, you make it happen and we will lay down our arms and give him a chance and even stand by him. As long as he is bent on this destructive path along with Reid and Pelosi, I will not sit by and watch. You will hear from me and mine.
I am going to work on a new post. Let me use a lib word here. It will be comprehensive! I will prove he is a Socialist, it is quite easy, but then we'll dive a bit deeper. So Jack, are you up for the challenge? Will you make these changes today? Will you at least start a blog or a web page calling for YOUR party to enforce these demands of mine? You want it fair?
